For the first time ever, Brussels Urban Sessions will take place in September, in the heart of the iconic Parc du Cinquantenaire. A strategic move designed to offer ideal conditions for athletes, artists, partners, and the public alike. For three days, Brussels will come alive to the rhythm of competitions, demonstrations, and open-air events.
An international sports lineup 🌍
In 2026, Brussels Urban Sessions confirms its status as a leading event on the global stage. The world’s best riders and several Olympic athletes will be there to deliver a top-level show.
Skateboarding, BMX, parkour, and many other disciplines will transform Parc du Cinquantenaire into a massive open-air playground. Spectacular performances, bold tricks, and collective energy: all the ingredients will be in place for an explosive weekend.
Urban Sessions’ Takeovers hit the city 🚀
Big news this year: Brussels Urban Sessions will no longer be limited to just one weekend. With the launch of the TAKEOVERS by Urban Sessions , the event will spread across Brussels starting in spring 2026.
Two open-air mini-festivals have already been announced:
May 30, 2026 – Place du Congrès
June 13, 2026 – Tour & Taxis
July 4, 2026 - Skatepark des Ursulines
On the agenda: urban sports initiations, pumptrack, skate, BMX, parkour, street art, live painting… and above all, a 100% urban atmosphere. The goal? To connect with the public, showcase urban disciplines, and build excitement ahead of the main event in September.
Brussels Urban Sessions × Couleur Café: a major partnership 🤝
2026 also marks the beginning of a strong collaboration with Couleur Café, Brussels’ largest music festival. Two key players of the capital are joining forces around a shared vision: bringing people together, inspiring creativity, and celebrating urban culture.
In concrete terms, Couleur Café will play an active role in the musical programming of the afterparties at Parc du Cinquantenaire in September.
And the partnership goes even further: Brussels Urban Sessions will be present at the Couleur Café Festival from June 26 to 28, 2026 with a unique activation, creating an unprecedented bridge between urban sports and the music scene.
