During the 2025 edition of Brussels Urban Sessions, Colombian rider Luis Rincón Reyes delivered one of those unforgettable moments by landing a trick that had never been seen before: a Backflip double whip to foot jam.
Since then nicknamed “El Truco de Dios”, this incredible move was successfully pulled off for the very first time in the world during the Best Trick Contest, in front of an ecstatic crowd and amazed judges.

An extremely demanding sequence that requires flawless bike control, millimetric precision and an immense amount of courage. By landing this trick in competition, Luis Rincón not only won the Best Trick Contest, but also secured his place in BMX Freestyle history.
On the women’s side, the level was just as impressive. Germany’s Kim Lea Müller stole the spotlight by winning the Best Trick with a spectacular Backflip Can Can on a Spine, once again proving the exceptional standard of international women’s BMX.
