OUR COMMITMENTS
Brussels Urban Sessions is committed to delivering an accessible, inclusive, and sustainable event.
Through our efforts, we strive to create an experience that is open to everyone, respectful of all, and mindful of its impact, in line with today’s social and environmental challenges.
ACCESSIBILITY
We want urban culture to be shared by everyone.
We value diversity, encourage participation and strive to create experiences where everyone can find their place.
In this spirit, we welcome schools, sports clubs, youth organisations and also more vulnerable groups, such as asylum seeker centres and various youth centres, to make participation as accessible as possible.
INCLUSION
Making urban culture accessible to all is a priority.
We work with non-profit organisations such as Run & Wheels to offer adapted sports activities for children with disabilities.
We also collaborate with Cour des Arts as part of the programme “Art pour tous, avec tous”, organising street art workshops for young people with disabilities, guided by international artists. In 2025, several artworks created during Urban Sessions were exhibited at the European Commission.
SUSTAINABILITY
We aim to minimise the impact of the event as much as possible.
With the support of Bolt Energie, 170 m² of solar panels provide a large part of the festival’s energy needs.
We also encourage sustainable mobility through activities and by setting up a bike parking area with a repair station, in partnership with Decathlon.
Finally, we pay particular attention to the reuse of structures and materials, as well as waste management, in order to promote reuse and recycling.
